Kansas State Fire Marshal investigating large Johnson County house fire

SPRING HILL, Kan. (KCTV) - Two adults were displaced from their home on Friday after a large fire broke out in their kitchen.
At 7:43 p.m. on Friday, May 3, the Johnson County Fire District #1 was dispatched to a home in the 18700 block of Skyview Lane. The homeowner had heard a loud noise and found a fire in their kitchen. They evacuated and called 911.
Several units arrived on the scene, including two local fire departments and the Johnson County Med-Act.
The fire was quickly extinguished, and all occupants made it out safely. No injuries were reported.
The Kansas State Fire Marshal’s Office is currently investigating the cause of the incident.
