There was a time when Alyssa Milano was one of the biggest stars on US TV. She had hit after hit from Who's the Boss? to Melrose Place to Charmed. She even released a few albums (that's when you knew you'd made it in the 1990s).

But since the Charmed witches hung up their brooms, you might struggle to think what Alyssa has been up to over the past 10 years. However, you'll pleased to know that she's been a lot busier than you thought:

1. She's actually been in plenty of things, just nothing huge

She might not have had a hit as big as Charmed over the last decade, but she has acted steadily ever since then.

Her biggest role was as one of the leads in Mistresses, the US remake of the UK show of the same name. Though she had to leave after two seasons due a conflict between the filming location and her family life.

She was also in 10 episodes of My Name is Earl, and she popped up in Castle, Breaking In and the movies Hall Pass and New Year's Eve. Not exactly big deals, but she's kept busy.

2. She hosts Project Runway: All Stars

Alyssa has turned to TV presenting in recent years, most notably with the celebrity edition of Lifetime fashion reality show Project Runway: All Stars since 2013.

Not only that, but she has also served as a judge on the show and will use this experience in the best possible way: getting a gig as a guest judge on RuPaul's Drag Race.

3. She created her own comic book

Because why not? In 2013, she came up with the series Hacktivist – which was written by Jackson Lanzing and Collin Kelly and drawn by Marcus To. (So she… produced it?)

The book is a cyber-thriller that deals with the modern world of hacking and global activism. It was released digitally in late 2013, followed by a print edition in 2014. It received largely positive reviews, achieving a score of 8.1 out of 10 at Comic Book Roundup.

Speaking in 2014, Alyssa explained: "I became obsessed with the role of the media, and how it was being used as a tool for protest. At the same time, Anonymous was using hacking skills to empower people. And I thought, 'What if Anonymous wasn't a group but one person?' And that spiraled into, 'What if Anonymous was one guy? What characteristics would he have?' He'd have to be socially aware, a coder, have access, be compassionate."

It also helped that Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey is her son's godfather, and she was an advisor at his startup company Square.

She added: "Jack Dorsey was the only person I could think of. What if Jack started Twitter to affect social change?"

4. She became a baseball fashion designer

In 2007, she launched her 'Touch' line of team clothing for female baseball fans, and it was a moderate success, having been sold on the MLB website and in various US stores. She has since expanded to NFL, NHL and NASCAR apparel.

She was also part of TBS' coverage for the 2007 MLB playoffs, and even wrote a blog for the sport's website. Two years later, she released a book about baseball fandom: Safe At Home: Confessions of a Baseball Fanatic.

5. She's done a lot for charity

In 2007, she was named a Founding Ambassador for the Global Network for Neglected Tropical Diseases, donating $250,000 in the process. She is also a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for the US, and has visited Angola, India and Kosovo to raise awareness for various campaigns.

In 2013, she appeared in a fake sex tape for Funny or Die, which cleverly drew attention to the Syrian civil war.

6. She got married and had two kids

Awww, eh? In August 2009, she married Creative Artists Agency agent David Bugliari, and they have since had a son, Milo, and a daughter, Elizabella.

She actually came to verbal blows with daytime host Wendy Williams, after Alyssa advocated breastfeeding in public. Watch the mildly awkward exchange below:
